Group Travel

Have you ever considered traveling with a group of people? Maybe your church group, your seniors activity group, a local common interest club or maybe even your online social networking group?

A couple weeks ago, we received a call from a lady that wanted to talk about group travel on a cruise. She belongs to a website that happens to be a forum for owners of a specific breed of dogs. This website gives the owners a place to talk with other owners about anything and everything related to their 4 legged family members. This lady has been wanting to meet in person other members from this website but has just not had much luck putting things together.

When she was referred to our agency, she asked us what we could do to help make this happen. She had already done a fabulous job of sparking an interest in her friends via the website. We were able to review with her the options available for the group with pricing, cruise ship information and payment options.

Once a package was selected, we prepared an email for the group to announce the details thus eliminating the guess work for the group leader in what is important for making the reservations. Next we took the work off of her shoulders for making reservations, assigning staterooms, cross-referencing dining times and speaking with the travelers to answer their questions about cruising. This can be the most daunting task of a group leader to be able to make sure things are running smoothly with the group payments and paperwork not to mention reserving all of the flight tickets, pre-cruise hotel stays and documentation for travel.

Now this group leader is able to focus on her daily routine and visit with friends on the website and not have to worry about how the group bookings are proceeding. We are able to handle that business and then simply communicate with the group leader on a regular basis so they know how the group is doing. The group has a contact in our office to speak directly to any time they should have a question about the trip as well.

In only about 2 weeks time, they now have approximately 50 people confirmed for the cruise! What a great way to enhance their friendships!

What a wonderful group they are to work with too. Now is the perfect time to bring YOUR group travel idea to one of our specialists so we can help your wonderful group spend a fabulous vacation together.
